Salma Hayek officially joins Facebook

Mexican-American renowned filmmaker-actress Salma Hayek has added her name in list of those celebrities who joined highly-ranked social networking website Facebook.

The ‘Frida’ lead star has officially joined Facebook as she has been refusing for year to use social networking website, finally created her account in renowned social platform.

Nicola Mendelsohn, EMEA vice president for Facebook revealed while addressing to media reporters that why she remained absence from social networking websites.

Sexiest Salma told, “I’m a rebel, I don’t want to do what everyone else does. I really did resist it. I had this idea that you should always be present, not always calling, texting, when I’m with you, I’m with you.”

She further said in continued speech, she didn’t want to be absent publicly as other celebrities pay their time to social media while communicating with fans. She wants to present around her fans and hence remained absent.

After creating account in Facebook, she wrote in her first post on her wall, “Life is about new discoveries, so today after decades of a self imposed allergy to technology, I am losing my social media virginity!”

The mother of Valentina Paloma Pinault told that she didn’t want join Facebook because—doesn’t want to hurt fans, those all are so respectable for her because her popularity by them. She said fans supported me a lot for all years and being appreciated by them.

Salma said those who want to know me deeply— her profile in Facebook would help them.

Salma described, “I am excited to start this new adventure with you and I hope that it will be a fun and inspiring one.”
