Beijing: China coal mine fire killed 24 while 54 miners were injured in the northeastern Liaoning province on Wednesday Xinhua news agency reported.

Foreign news reported that in china’s northeastern province Liaoning an underground fire in coal mine, hold by state-owned Liaoning Fuxin Coal Corporation, killed 24 and injured about 54 in which some of were in danger condition, hospitalized immediately on Wednesday.

According to authorities, rescue operation has been finished but the actual reason behind the fire is still unknown, however, it is supposed that 1.6 magnitude earthquake at night was possible reason of fire while Investigations have been continued to reach at genuine reason of accident.

China, the world’s biggest coal producing country, has very low and poor standard of safety as the country considered as deadliest over mine accident.

In previous year, up to 589 mine accidents were on record which left more than thousand dead, however, china has shown some attention towards safety measures which decrease the figure of accidents which were 24 percent more in 2012.
