Yemen Clashes Rebels Surround PM Residence Seize TV Station

Sanaa: Yemen’s Shia rebels attacked in capital and seized the State news agency and TV station, surrounded the residents of Prime Minister.

According to foreign news agency Yemeni Houthi fighters attacked on convoy of Prime Minister early on Monday which killed at least 2 people while many others were injured, rebels surrounded the PM residence and seized the State news agency and TV station.

Authorities stated that clashed erupted in the capital when President hold a meeting with Prime Minister in Presidential Palace but as convoy went back after end of meeting they have been attacked by shia rebels, however, PM left safe while Yemen’s President was shifted to safe place.

Local media reported that ceasefire agreed between Houthi fighters and Yemen’s troop after their representative met each other to end the ongoing clashes in the State capital, however, rebels guards are still deployed all streets of the region and took positions on all three entrance of PM residence.

Yemen’s Capital was on alert following Shia rebels took over the Capital on since September, the Houthi militants have ran over the capital’s Sunni central areas and westerns region of the country and took control on these areas.

Yemen’s Houthi Shia rebels were fighting with government forces, demand division of the country for a separate state heading to appear as a new power.
