The Haqqani network’s leader and creator, Maulvi Jalaluddin Haqqani has passed away about a year ago, senior leader of the militant organization told media.

A small organized rebels group Haqqani network, considered to be one of the dangerous militant organization that has been battling against US-led NATO forces as well the government of Afghanistan for years for their personal interest.

Nonetheless, Afghanistan’s largest jihadists’ organization has confirmed their supreme commander and the spiritual leader Mullah Omar on Thursady that he passed away on April 2013 in Pakistan city Karachi, suffered bad health issues and admitted in one of the hospitals of the city.

If it confirms that militants’ leader Molvi Haqqani has passed away that would be a landmark in the wars in Afghanistan because he has been carrying out insurgency against the US-led NATO forces as well Afghan government since the 1980s.
