Lahore High Court Issued Order to Release Ayyan Ali on Bail

Lahore: The Lahore High Court approved bail application of fashion model Ayyan Ali and issued order for her release on Tuesday and now long time drama ends here.

According to reports, bail plea was presented to a two-member bench of the Lahore High Court who accepted it after some consideration and to be released from jail in next hours.

Pakistani glamorous model has spent about four months in jail as custom authorities caught her red handed by smuggling the $500,000 in her suitcase which is clear violation because the rule demonstrates that only $10,000 can be carried out of the country.

Ayyan was detained on 14 March Ayyan at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad and released today, now would enjoy the special event Eid-ul-Fitr with her friends and family members at home sweet home.

A division bench of the Lahore High Court granted the 21-year-old super model to place on record more documents in her bail plea in the money laundering case, on Monday. Nevertheless, the bench had required replies to the Customs authorities and federal government.

The award winning model’s lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa mentioned in application which was submitted to division bench of the Lahore High Court, in which it says that under the Customs Act women suspects in money smuggling cases could be released on bail after the end of probe.

Latif Khosa further explained that Ayyan accused of money laundering and arrested and investigation was being done and ended, so after the completion of probe— court should release his client on bail.

Lawyer Latif Khosa also clarified that the model was carrying out money to hand over her brother by traveling from Pakistan to Dubai city.

He added highlighting reason of the arrest, money laundering wasn’t the cause, while real cause was boarding card.
