Auckland: In ICC World Cup first semi final will be played between South Africa and still unbeaten New Zealand at Eden Park Auckland on Tuesday.

In first semi final of cricket World Cup Proteas will face the Kiwis in Eden Park cricket ground on 24th of March.

The match has been considered as a tough competition between both opponents while it would be first appearance of both teams in any semi final of World Cup events.

South African is back into form after losing a match from Pakistan, defeated Sri-Lanka by nine wickets and stood at second position following India with eight points in first round.

South Africa have strengths and backbone players including AB de Villiers, David Miller with 417 and 275 runs in World Cup respectively while Imran Tahir and Morne Morkel also prominent from bowling end for their excellent performance throughout World Cup.

On the other side Kiwis are also ready victimize Proteas having extraordinary and magnificent players like Martin Guptill and skipper Brendon McCullum having 498 and 269 runs on scoreboard in seven matches.

Another thing to consider is that New Zealand is the team which is still unbeaten and has 12 points in first round of World Cup.

Things happened at ground and situation decides the winner but if someone is favorite from these two then undoubtedly New Zealand comes in mind as they also beaten South Africa in Quarter final round of World Cup 2011.
