“Fifty Shades” International Box Office To Break Records On Valentines Day

The famous R rated steamy novel of El James is to hit cinemas’ on Valentine’s Day and it’s predicted that it will break all the records.

The much awaited movie of Fifty Shades of Grey will hit cinemas on Valentine’s days. This R rated movie has become the top movie in terms of advance ticket sales for Valentine ’s Day, as well as for the Presidents Day weekend.

According to online ticketing service Fandando it is becoming no.4 movie to get most tickets in advanced it’s behind The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the final Harry Potter movie and The Hunger Games.

It is expected that most of the audience that will come to watch the movie will constitute of females, on the other hand it also seems that the movie will become valentine date movie for the couple on this Valentine’s Day.

According to another online ticketing service movieTickets.com 80 percent of the tickets are being purchased by the couples.

Fifty Shades, made for a relatively modest $40 million, is expected to gross $60 million or more over four-day holiday weekend, although Universal is being more cautious and saying $50 million-plus.

The movie is based on el James so called “mummy porn” series of books and is a first movie of three parts. The film contains strong, sex and nudity scenes.

The film stars Jamie Dornan in the leading role and Dakota Johnson as his lover. The movie is directed by Taylor- Johnson and is due to release on 13 the February and is predicted to as most anticipated movie on the coming Valentine’s Day.

In the US the film has been given an R rating, meaning those under 17 years old can watch it if accompanied by an adult.
