during initial investigations it has been surfaced that there was a dispute over parking space and they got shot in the argument whereas police is also considering the hate motivated factor.

Police have named the victims as 23 year old Deah shaddyBarakat, his wife, Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, 21, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19.

Police were called when gun shots were heard at an apartment block. All three victims were found dead at the scene. According to Police all three victims were shot in head.

A 46 year old man, named Craig Stephen Hicks handed himself last night committing the offense of murdering these 3 people. Hicks, who is an atheist and on number of occasions had expressed his hatred for other religions. Hicks is under police custody and will be presented in court in few days.

Hicks appeared briefly in court Wednesday morning, during which he spoke only to answer that he understood the charges and to confirm an indigence affidavit.

According to a statement given by police on Wednesday morning, the crime was motivated by an ongoing dispute on parkink space.

Whereas on the other hand he women’s father, Dr Muhammad Abu Salha, completely denied this he said that he believed that the deceased’s were killed on the basis of different religion and culture. He further said that his daughter and son in law were picked several times in past by Hicks as well.

“This was not a dispute over a parking space; this was a hate crime,” he said.”They were uncomfortable with him, but they did not know he would go this far,” he said.
